Another way for remembering rotation of the leg and hip fracture/dislocation: If the leg is in, the hip is out (internal rotation= hip dislocation) If the leg is out, the hip is in (external rotation = no dislocation, more likely hip fracture). Thank you for carrying us all through pa school! ❤

The internal medicine CME lectures are often too detailed that I get lost in the forest.

hey there, awesome review. i love your series. one update, please see this video is from 2 years ago. I noticed in my $600 PANCE Study GUIDE (2 binder study guide), they list Rofumilast as an additional treatment option (in addition to)LABA + LAMA + ICS; that is a PDE4 inhibitor (per Medscape similar to Theophylline) that can be used in hopes of reducing inflammation and COPD exacerbations in Group “E” class COPD” (probably a typo for Group “C”) patients . my study guide also lists optional ABX similar to what you discussed and opioids as a last line treatment therapy. the PANCE study guide didn’t mention any further details about the drug Rofumilast , and I had to look it up in Medscape for further details. I’m wondering if you have any thoughts on this medication, as it is listed in Medscape as no significant change in mortality. keep up the great work!

Another way for memorizing valgus/varus is to change valGUS to valGUM like chewing gum, the M at the end helps you remember MCL and also helps you remember the positioning -- the knees are stuck together by gum. For varus, you just remember it's the other one haha
